Number 4

Woke up bright at early for an eight o'clock infusion this time.  No doctor visit, just strait to chemotherapy.  I woke up feeling kinda sick.  Mom and I drove up like usual, checked in and waited to get called back.  Again I was directed to my chair and waited for them to begin, unfortunately feeling quite sick at this point.  I had a new nurse of course, not just to me but to Huntsman too.  I wasn't pleased with the manner in which she poked me...it hurt, but whatevs.  I just gave Carlee a wide eyed look which fueled a bit of laughter when she left.  So at least the nurse gave me that.  Plus she was pretty cool.  Taylor joined me after a while and the nausea continued to get worse.  After they started the anti-nausea I still felt nauseated...?  I have a problem with nausea I suppose.
After a half hour or so of that we started chemo....then stopped.  Nurse 'painful pokes' wasn't getting blood return, so after several methods of fixing it, including raising my arm, leaning back, leaning forward, laying on my side, ect...plan b went into effect.  Pokes aren't as funny the second time around, but oh well.  They got the blood return they needed, tested the first poke again and low and behold, it now worked in both needles.  Guess it's a good thing I accidentally got a double port!
Chemo continued after that fun activity.  Then, due to the taste of Vinblastine, I started feeling really yucky.  They gave me some gum and an Ativan to help, and it did for a min, but then I puked.  Plus side here...I didn't puke again and felt a bit better.
Finally we finished up and I was allowed to go.  I rode home with Taylor and was on my couch within the hour preparing for the worst.  This treatment followed the in the manner of the two before, so not too bad.  I have now completed four treatments...eight more to go!
