Number 9

This chemotherapy was different than most, I had a special guest...Pop.  I was very excited to have Dad come and see what happens at chemo.  I woke up and had some time to get lookin nice before we had to go.  Then, for the first time, Dad and I headed up to Huntsman to get another one over with.  We went up to the clinic first to drop off some Christmas gifts Mom had gotten all ready for the people who help me out, like my nurse and such.  While we were up there I went ahead and requested Shane to access my port, you know the usual.  He got me my throw up bucket, poked me, and I was on my way down to infusion in no time.
I then directed Dad down to infusion, met up with Carlee, and got started.  I had an awesome nurse named Jutta, she was from Germany.  She absolutely loved the Christmas basket we had for the infusion nurses and was super friendly right from the get go.  After waiting a little while we got started and I was off to sleep.  Once again we did acupuncture when chemo was finished and then we were on our way back home.  I was now finished with my last chemotherapy until after Christmas.  Hooray for that! Three more.
